A Brisbane and San Diego USA-based pre-clinical platform biotech focusing on inflammation targets. Gregor Rozenberg managed a $12m Series-A syndication between Lilly Ventures, Starfish Ventures and QBF. Many libraries of target specific novel pre-lead candidates have now been developed.

Director June’07 – Nov’08.
Cambridge USA based endocrinology company with multiple assets including oncology and women’s health. Co-Investors include Apple Tree Partners and Novartis BioVentures. A $22m Series-B was completed in June ’09.
Xenome Therapeutics Ltd
Director/Observer Feb’04 – Jan’08.
Xenome is a Phase 2 clinical stage drug developer with initial focus on neuropathic pain. Xenome has operations in Brisbane Australia and San Diego USA. Gregor Rozenberg has been involved in the growth from a preclinical library assets University spin-out to a US/AUS-based clinical products company. More than $50m has been raised through VC syndicates to date.

Director March ’07 – Nov’08.
A Sydney Australia based biologics developer with a focus on cellular regeneration of nucleus pulpous of the spinal disk for the treatment of degenerative disk disease and pain. Gregor Rozenberg was instrumental in formulating IP, corporate strategy and in securing an anticipated co-development investment from a global orthopaedics medical device company.

Director March’07 – Nov’08.
A Boston USA-based drug developer in the area of neurodegeneration with particular focus on Alzheimer’s disease. GR syndicated an investment with Puretech Ventures, a Boston based venture capital and incubation group. Involved in attracting follow-on investment by US VCs in July, Sept, Nov’08 and $22m Series-B in Jan ‘09.

Director/Observer July ’07 – Nov’08.
A Boston USA and Rehovot Israel based non-surgical medical device company focusing on treatment and management of obesity. Instigated a US$16m Series-B co-investment from OrbiMed and QBF concurrently to a debt conversion in Dec ‘07.

Gregor Rozenberg is responsible for the start-up and strategic management of this minimally invasive orthopaedic spine medical device company.
